GUEST POLICY: YOUR RESERVATION IS FOR YOU, AND THOSE INCLUDED IN THE HEAD COUNT IN YOUR RESERVATION. Absolutely NO VISITORS allowed at your cabin during your stay unless you make arrangements ahead of time to have additional day guests. We realize that from time to time, there may be circumstances where you may want to have one or two guests stopping by. You can add additional “Day Time” guests to your reservation as “Paid Day Guests” (additional adults are $15 each per day, additional children under the age of 16 are $10 each per day). It does not matter if they stay the night or not. All guests must be paid for in order to use our facilities and grounds.

What Should You Bring?:

What We Provide We provide all towels, bed linens including pillows and blankets, and kitchen linens. The kitchen does have a coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, slow cooker, silverware, dishes and glasses, blender, and common kitchen utensils.

What You Should Bring You need to bring your food, and paper products you want to use such as paper plates, paper towels, napkins, and your toiletries. Some guest like to bring their own pillows. Items our guest most often forget to bring include coffee, soap for the shower, dish soap to clean dishes and any pots that are used during your stay, and extra garbage bags, and extra toilet paper. Our cabin has well water. Some guests prefer to bring their own drinking water. If you plan to use the laundry, you will need to bring detergent and fabric softener.

Amenities policy Occasionally appliances, fireplaces, etc… can malfunction. We will service and restore these amenities as quickly as we can, but will not make any rental concession for time without these items. Likewise, loss of electricity, water, or other “Acts of God” that are outside of our control will not result in a refund of any monies paid. We ask that you follow all guidelines and policies regarding use of amenities in order to keep them functioning at peak efficiency.

Fireplaces Our wood-burning fireplace is operational all year. You can pre-order wood for this fireplace from us for $10.00 per bag or bundle, and it will be on the back porch for you.

Cell Phone Reception Most cell phones will work at our cabin depending upon your provider. Please check with your provider to insure there is coverage in this area. We have received no complaints from customers in regards to cell phone signal. There are no land lines installed in the cabin.

Electrical Outages Unfortunately electrical outages do happen out here in the country! We do have flashlights in the cabins, but you might want to bring one just in case.

Pets are welcome. Must be well mannered, and house broken. Pets are allowed with prior approval.

Bugs We have our cabin professionally treated on a regular basis, but we have invaded the bugs’ natural habitat. You are in the middle of the woods and you WILL see bugs and spiders during your stay! You might want to bring some bug spray if you plan to spend time outside and hiking at the parks.

TV Reception We offer Satellite TV through Direct TV.

Winter Weather Winter Weather may be a factor during your stay, as we are open year round. We suggest that you arrange for four-wheel drive transportation in the case of inclement weather. We do have very hilly and winding terrain in the area.
